Rebuilding Together Warner Robins (RTWR) has repaired and revitalized over 1,025 homes in the local area. RTWR volunteers are the backbone to every home repair.

RTWR welcomes all volunteers, of all skill levels. Volunteers include an individual or groups. If you are volunteering alone or with a few friends, you may be placed with a larger group. RTWR partners with companies, associations, churches, schools and clubs to fit the needs of the community. Volunteers must be 14 years old. Additionally, volunteers must complete a volunteer waiver for every project for each day.

Repair activities include, but not limited to, carpentry, plumbers, electricians, roofers, painters, landscaping, household cleaning, and other numerous small jobs. RTWR provides material and guidance for every projects.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?
Contact our the local office for more information. You will receive a response from your initial contact.

What is the age requirements in order to volunteer?
All volunteers must be 14 or older for most of our projects. RTWR must have parental/guardian signature on a volunteer waiver form prior to work day.

Do I need to be an expert?
No. Volunteers with all levels of experience are invited to volunteer with us. If you are experienced, please indicate so on your waiver and inform your on-site house captain when you arrive.

May I work even though I have some physical limitations?
Yes. There are a number of tasks that do not involve strenuous labor. Please advise the volunteer coordinator and on-site house captain of your limitations.

Does RTWR provide food, water and/or transportation?
No. Visiting volunteer groups or individuals will be responsible for providing their own transportation and housing. RTWR may provide lunch for the annual work day.

Should I bring my own tools?
Volunteers are allowed to use their personal tools. Otherwise, RTWR will provide the necessary tools and material. Volunteers are encouraged to conduct a site visit for appreciation of the work scope and tools needed.

What if I need to cancel my work dates?
We request that you contact the volunteer coordinator at least one week prior to the start of the first work day. We are open Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00a – 5:00p.

What if the weather is bad?
In the case of inclement weather, we will make every effort to reassign your group.

Is there any paperwork?
Yes. All volunteers will need to sign a waiver. This will be provided before the workday. Everyone MUST turn in a completed waiver prior to working on a home.
