Rebuilding Together Warner Robins completes 1009th House

December 17, 2015

On Saturday, December 12, 2015 Rebuilding Together Warner Robins is pleased to announce the completion of our 1009 house.  Ms Jacqueline Moultrie of 2 Booker Street was presented with the keys to her home.  She had temporarily moved out of her home for RTWR to make the necessary repairs.  Upon approval for work to begin the home was tested for Lead Based Paint with a positive result both interior and exterior, requiring abatement and retesting.  It took approximately 6 months to make all the repairs as there was extensive water damage to the exterior back wall and interior repairs resulting from the water damage also.  Other repairs made were installation of a new HVAC system, bathroom remodel for handicap accessibility, installation of new flooring, complete interior door replacement and painting, check electrical and upgraded as needed, roof replacement, installation of insulation, and yard work.  Thanks to Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church volunteers for cleaning and moving her belongings back into the home.

December 17, 2015 the Houston County Board of Education made a donation of $820 in Lowe’s and Home Depot gift cards and money to RTWR.  A big thank you to HCBE for their support and generous donation.
